The N/A doesnt it have different internals then the GTE block?
If so then the safety factor comes in mind. As soon as you through boost to a NA motor you are increasing your chances of detination and the motor going kaboom. I know it might be cheaper to do a NA-T but I think GTE out of an aristo and just swap the trannys. will be my route. Through a front mount on it and some tuning and call it a day.

it all about the tune.. I had a s13 with a sr20de+t with a 10.1 compression and ran 8 pounds with a t25 making around 205whp at 4200rpm(never got my full tune bc the maf was acting up)... may not be 400hp but was impressive for what it was i think. and it was a lot cheaper than buying the whole motorset.... but a 2jz and sr are whole different level than each other but able to be compared none the less...

my old baby right before i hooked everything up and went for my safc tune =)

also the usdm gte is better because the turbos are not ceramic...

you're misinformed there.the internals that are different are the shape of the pistons..however both stock internals can handle 700whp easily and have been proven to do so.
The only thing is if you want more then ~300whp you need to use a TT headgasket to lower the comp to run higher boost safely on pump gas..
i think the average being about 17lbs of boost on a tt hg ..but theres other ways as well...you can stay stock comp and use water or meth injector or use e85 if its common in your area....anything over 300whp in a ge will need some upgrading like injectors hg tranny..on a gte anything over probably 400whp and you'll need to start upgrading the same things minus the HG

im on tt headgasket and im tuned at 19psi on 93 octane and had zero knock.. i could have done 26 psi on sunoco 110 easily and got into 700's it all comes down to full control of timing and fuel
