From my research this is what I got so far.... a 1jz is a 2.5L that is good for 400-650hp with stock internals with good boltons and a good tune. Of course the stock twins won't bring yu to that kind of power you will need a nice size single turbo and manifold with other quality boltons .1jz also do have a high reving head. Now the 2jz is good for 600-850hp on stock internals, with of course quality boltons and a good tune. The 2jz has the strongest block in te jz family. All depends on your budget and goals with HP.

This is what I mean bout bad information.

It doesn't work like that. It isn't just about peak power but WHERE the power is also called the powerband.

6xxhp ON PUMP GAS is hard even for a 2jz.

SoarerJZ my personal opinion is that best bang for your buck swap is an aristo auto. Because you already have a 2jz, you already have most of the parts to do the aristo swap. The rest are general maintenance parts that you should replace anyways like the water pump.

Your better off just sticking to GT5 on your PSP. You can learn how to mod your dream SC there.

this is a simple way to put this thread.

want to work on your car and know whats actually going on with your motor? go n/a-t (source, buy, put together, drop, bolt, tune than GO!)

just want a simple clean swap? go 1jz (buy, drop, bolt, plug than GO!)
