Alright so i was going to the grocery store a few weeks back and when i came back outside to start my car i got nothing except the light and sound for the key in the ignition. And i was experiencing some electrical problems for the past 2-3 months. Came to find out from doing research is that the power steering cap's seal goes bad and drips directly down onto the alternator and gives "weird electrical problems". Sure enough i went outside and i could see a slight ring around the power steering cap, with a ll draining down the side and directly below was my alternator and it was clear its been dropping on it for awhile. Ordered the alternator, took it out swaped and went to put it back in and i noticed that the alternator harness connector that connects directly to the alternator is slightly melted and looks perhaps defected. Though i connected it anyway and i got nothing. The main reason i am on here is to ask where i can get a alternator harness. The guys at auto-zone were clueless and i cannot find one anywhere on the net. Thank you.

Thank you, but will it be specifically for a sc400 alternator? Because the electrical prongs on it looks pretty unique.
