yes i looked at it again and i think its finished.

Simply putting on a new quarter panel is not going to fix your problem at all.

Your whole back end is messed up badly.

There is a ton of things that would need to be done to fix that

again sorry and good luck

I'd bet money on your frame being bent!

At least you are OK. I agree, the car is totaled. Did you have full coverage?

^Yup, the frame is probably toast

If you part out the car you might be able to afford a down payment on another SC(In another color hopefully?). Especially if you had something like say a black interior.

-You have a perfectly good engine, do a compression test and sell it on eBay
-Same goes for transmission
-Interior parts, particularly things like vents or window frames that aren't cracked
-Nakamichi Amplifier(If applies) getting harder and harder to find these days
-Front headlights if in good condition are worth $$$
-SC400 front spoilers are expensive

It's work, but any money takes work!!

I think around 500$

The trans is worth more IIRC

Side note, I have had this transmission in 2 cars and have had it break 5 times now.

I doubt any of the 1uz's u will find for sale have under 200 000 miles or so .

I would hate to be in a position where i need to buy a used engine to replace mine--u never know what your gonna get.

You're best off getting a new SC and parting this one out.

If you have an OEM SC400 lip, you could sell that for quite a bit. I'd say you could get at least $1,000 out of just parts alone.

You would think, but not necessarily. Google search return one under 40k:
http://us.ebid.net/for-sale/90-91-92...rom=googlebase

And there are rebuild kits available. The problem is Hot rodding parts are relatively difficult to come by and expensive (1200$ for Cams!? 5000$ for a forged iron 4.7l block?!). To build a comparable 350CI SBC would cost 1/4 the price.

Thats a fantastic price for such a great engine, im shocked actually.

You can barely get a set of front lights for $499.00 lol ---unreal.

If you read the fine print it says that they have no way of knowing the exact mileage on any particular engine.

Although that engine looks to be in fantastic shape--i think i believe them when they say the mileage is low(30-40 000--too bad they dont know forsure though.

Mine has only 90000 miles and looks much more weathered than that engine.
