yes its s shame, not to put down the 1jz/2jz but the 1uz is a legend in its own right.

There should be much more support out there for the big reliable v8.

1UZ has plenty of support in the southern hemisphere. They use it as a carburated stock car engine kinda like you see SBC's in every stock car here. I'm speaking out of my rear, but its always seemed like the Aussies tend to have a fondness for anything V8.

Lextreme and TTC can help you out too, but don't call unless you ball. The UZ is not a cheap motor to play with. I think thats the main reason the JZ gets the nod in the US.

Yes exactly,

from what ive heard there are upgrades for the 1uz but they are extremely expensive, which again is a shame.

Yea TTC would be a real help...Guess you haven't seen their legendary 2UZ MKIV Poopra. lol

EDIT: Found the thread with it for those who have never seen TTC work. http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...tor+underneath

That's pretty awful... yikes.

The few fabricated pieces of theirs I've seen on various 1UZ boards seemed OK, but good lord. Ignore the TTC comment!!

Aussie cars are awesome. They do love their big, lazy V8s. Two of my favorite Aussie cars were exported to the US as the Pontiac GTO and the G8. Just wish Pontiac hadn't ruined them with their stupid front end.

i suggest selling this its not worth it fixing it . My little quarter panel dent cost around 1000 to fix this is going to be a lot more, plus your frame is probably bent. I rather part it out and put that money into another sc if you wanna stay with it of course.

Your damage looks as bad as mine was on my sc. If you don't want to pay the money like I did part it out. I paid 2500 for it to be fix and painted
