Default Looking to replace tires...stock size

As part of my project car, I'm thinking about replacing the cracked and probably very old tires on my SC.

I am keeping the car stock, and am looking for recommendations for the stock size which if I remember correctly is 225/55R16. I am not looking for a high performance tire, rather a tire that is quiet, comfortable, and has treadlife.

Any thoughts or ideas?

I am looking to spend no more than $100/tire and I'm considering:

Falken
Hankook
Nitto
General

Any thoughts?

go on www.tirerack.com

they have tires for about that price your looking for. They dont charge tax either an they ship them to you. I bought four brand new tires hankook v4's for 450. they've been perfect

good luck

Those seam like a pretty good choice, and the price is right.

Thanks!

The continentals are a little more expensive, so I'm leaning more towards the Hankook's, but we'll see...

They will be a little shorter than the 55's. It might save me a few bucks a tire, but I'll just stick with the stock size.
