it all depends on if you want to keep your car or not.

might be better to take the money and invest in a different one.

how many miles were on the car if u dont mind me asking
It's my second SC, and I will move on, it just gets too old... Sucks that I actually did full tune up (belts, w-pump, t-stat, timing belt etc) just 2 months ago... oh well. But no, I would not want to fix it, the car that has been in an accident will never be as rigid. Btw it has around 130k miles.

I would get it you know, I like them BUT the problem is - they are getting older and older. Now, pretty much any SC you will get, it has leather rips, climate control won't work, busted speakers, steering wheel is worn, broken window regulators, and so on... Not because it's bad car; it's just aging like everything else. So it's wiser to get newer car, at least for me

well i agree that almost all the sc's i see for sale have a high amount of mileage and probably have some of the issues your talking about.

i was extremely lucky to find a real gem for a real fair price, im sure if u keep your eye open you may find one as well.

good luck either way you go

Food for thought - if the truck was lifted, I might be seriously injured now because the bumper would go right thru the window. I never understood how is it illegal to lower your car, and perfectly legal to lift it.

Most states do have a maximum bumper or headlight height but it varies from stare to state. In Montana this is legal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Pz6B...layer_embedded

Lowering a car is illegal? Where? In Cali?

And, if you really lift it stupid high, you can relocate your headlights to the bottom bumper when you lift your truck so that it's legal.
