![Question](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
My SC400 passenger seat is broken. The rail stuck and don't move at all. I removed and inspect it. Found left rail plastic gear was strip. The dealer parts are too expensive.
I would like to replace the front two seats with Supra seats, but I'm wondering will those connector and bolts are the same.
I can feel those Supra seat can hold me tighter during cornering.

The Supra seats do offer better lateral support than the SC seats but I like the SC's seats much better(softer/ better leather, more comfortable, etc...) and would not trade the SC seats for Supra seats.

Supra seats are a direct bolt in. You just need to fool around with the electrical connections a bit. They are less comfortable but lower, lighter and offer more lateral support.
I have them, and I have my old set of Gray SC seats for sale (with heaters in very good shape).
Pictures are available, e-mail me if you are interested

does is one mod that the reverse is true between supra and the SC
the SC seats are just simply more luxurious and comfortable. If i was a supra owner, i'd upgrade to the SC seats and not the other way around. The leather is also of higher quality and softer.
the weight difference really is neglible when it comes to performance , i mean u can lose a few pounds and have better performance differences.
seats are just too important IMO. you spent 150-200k miles in them and you just can't substitute that comfort, not to mention your back.
