I test drove one the other day...Holly **** is that thing weak!!!!! SOOOOOOO underpowered. I think I drove it 1 mile and brought it back.

and i have to admit that lexus dropped the ball big time on designing the sc430---i really dont know what they were thinking---they should of kept the same theme as the 400 just upgraded it --body wise--engine wise--performance wise----everything.
it is quite feminine looking i agree----but im sure with some rims and some masculine additions it can be a great car ----it definitely beats the is250 imo
also its a drop top --big big plus

I like and dislike bimmers.....I cant stand the people that drive them..all cocky ******!!!
M5 is a different story though. It extremely well built, Hand-built actually! You dont know till you drive one!!! orgasmic lol!! Maintenance costs though are a different story

Well this poll puts two cars that arent in the same category. This is more of a personal preference type of decision and u would have to base it upon yourself. Do you care about space? or car pooling? or do you drive alone.? Daily driver? do you care about the gas really? are u looking to mod it? All these come into play. For me personally, I would get an SC430 because i love SC's. but if your tired of not having space for your friends or what not than get an IS.

I get nothing from seeing a bmw or mercedes anymore due to their bad rep of being unreliable and poorly made and ridiculous parts and service costs.
my fav car used to be the s430-s500-s600 from benz----but i refuse to buy a car that spends so much time in the shop costing me an arm and a leg
im not just saying this because i own one---but lexus is the best way to go when looking for luxury and reliability----i hope to be a lexus owner indefinitely-
not that i have to convince any of you guys lol

yes im sure the ls430 is not the most sporty car although it does have 300hp which i was impressed to hear---i think it might share the same engine as the sc430--
