if you can afford an is250 put some more $ and get the is350. You'll enjoy it much more. sc430 s are too girly even with wheels and an agressive body kit.

M3s are great cars. The main thing is to be sure all the inspections, recalls and maintenance has been done. They run good when well taken care of. Most the M3 owners usually keep records on everything.

Don't do it. Used BMWs with that many miles on them are way more trouble than they're worth, even if they have been properly maintained. Someone I know, in October, bought a used M3. Granted, it's older than that one, but it was in "like new" condition, and within the first month, it needed a new $1000 CV assembly, and the e-brake wouldn't disengage when he used it. Just recently, he took it to Vegas, and coming back, he broke down because he said the engine was "completely shot".

If you do buy a used BMW, the love of god, get a warranty - a GOOD warranty.

Age should never matter, as long as it is a well cared for quality car. Most of us on here have 94-97's with over 100k.

I guess with your thinking a nice 60's GTO with over 100k is a *****box

Most new cars have a crappy build quality now. Everything is plastic and made in china. Just because its new doesn't mean its good.
Older BMWs are not "baller". In fact, no car is "baller". Stop saying that, and get off my lawn.

Age and mileage does matter on a BMW. Don't think so? Read https://www.clublexus.com/forums/car...ot-friend.html

I would never, ever, EVER buy a used BMW without an AMAZING warranty and every single thing well documented in receipts.

BMW's are notorious for having expensive repairs and alot of issues, mercedes also.

And lets nopt forget Jaguar--possibl;y the worst--most unreliable car of all time.

I would stick to lexus forsure----and i still say go with the ls430.

even though i am dissapointed in the way lexus went with the lexus sc430 i could still see myself in one.

Im sure i could bring out its masculine side if geven the chance.

Its a very nice car no matter what anyone says.

I disagree.

I'd go with the IS250. I think it looks great and I remember the Top-Gear guys saying the SC430 was fairly crappy for a Lexus. Although if you're sailing around in these waters and have the money, I'd personally get the new Genesis Coupe. Motorweek was raving about the newest model that came out.
