Looking for help...

I took the instrument cluster out today, disconnected battery, etc. Anyways, when I put everything back together, the factory alarm will not arm with the key. I searched but couldn't find anything. Tested the key on radio station 94.9 as OLT suggested in an old thread, it works. I am stumped. Do I need to reset something? If so, how?

Worked fine prior (well, had to have the key within 6 feet of car, but it armed...)

It's a '93 SC400...

**edited as I noticed it does arm when I lock/shut the doors, just the key button no longer works to operate keyless**

Try reprogramming your key/remote/fob (whatever you have)? There's a specific combination of pressing the buttons on the remote and locking/unlocking the doors that'll reprogram it.
Sorry, you'll have to figure out on you own what that combo is. Try calling the Lexus dealership?

 

What does 94.9 do?
