Default what is the best turbo to get for right now power?

i have a 93 sc w/ a 1jzgte twin turbo out of a 95 supra. has a inter cooler bov and a air intake. i am going to use this car for drift and scca events. i searched on the threads for info but still just have no idea. i am looking for a set up (single or twin) for the best right now power for drifting and track days (road coarse). and because i have a twin set up and if i go to a single i would need a new manifold right? sorry still learning cars. so what is the best turbo for what i am going to do and why? thanx

Are you sure you have a 1jz, the 95 Supra should have a 2jz-gte.

I live just outside of Charlotte. The Mark IV Supra (93-02) only came with a 2jz 3.0 I6, either naturally aspirated or twin turbo. If you have a 1jz its not out of a 95 Supra.

Yeah you do need a new manifold, and how much HP you want to achieve?
Go onto Supra Forums and Club Na-T, they have alot of info on Single Setups

just post a picture of said engine. if a 1jz came out of a 95 supra, unless its built, someone took a step backwards imo...

keyword to stay on topic though: 60-1

if all you want is 300-375 to the wheels just use the stock turbos. nothing will spool faster than those. you could get them ported and steel wheeled and they will be good to go.

you dont have to have a bigger target number. if your looking for quick response nothing will spool as fast as the stock turbos so that may be something to look at. you should find out which motor you have first since the 2jz turbos are better than the 1jz turbos

Good info I bet alot of people didn't know they sold the JDM Supra up untill 02 in Japan

As far as your power goals/spool time you should stick with your twin setup if not you can get a manifold and like a 60-1 Snail.
