Default Marimoto Projectors (H1/D2S)

Hi CL Members,

I am going to order Marimoto Projectors H1 for my sc400.
Did anyone attempt to install these in their headlights?
I would like to delete highbeam and disable DRL(Canada) and put these
Bi-Xenon Projectors.
They seem to have good output even compared to E55, TL(its better).
I am newb in retrofit however I can probably work with it since its going into
my spare headlights. I do install my own shocks, springs, and etc...
So maybe I can handle this task...
Please let me know if anyone has tried to put these in.
Thanks.

Steve

PS> Or should I stick to TSX...but low beam only sucks...

It's great to see another member doing a proper retrofit instead of plug and play HID kit which blinds oncoming traffic with glare.

I've retrofitted Morimoto Mini's into ebay headlight housing before. OEM headlight housing have about the same room to work with so it can definitely be done. Morimoto Mini's do have good outputs but I wouldn't say it's better than TL. They have high intensity in the center and they project light quite far. Beam pattern is not as wide as others on the market but they are excellent considering the size of projectors.

Here's my retrofit thread for reference: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...rojectors.html

Keep us posted on the progress!

Yeah i meant TL is better.
On hidplanet, marimoto H1 seemed really good As bixenon...i guess tsx does have wider coverage however i think bixenon would be nice for sc400 since high beam would suck in stock housing.
Thanks
