SC- 1st Gen (1992-2000)

How and why do i keep geting water in my cylinders! car wont start because of it.

i let it idle in the drive for 20mins no prob. then i took the car for a drive 60miles or so no prob. turn it off and let it sit for 30mins then fired right up again. i did see the plugs are quit black now. so i will get some new ones. i have ngk in now and will get the same.

Hopefully this is just some isolated weirdness and will go away on its own. People who carelessly wash their engines at a car wash usually get them same symptoms by pooling water around the plugs. Maybe some melting snow dripped on to your valve cover and got around the plugs and when the mechanics pulled your plugs they thought the water was inside the engine but it wasn't until they pulled the plugs.

yes that would be great if this is one of those mystery issues that comes and goes but if not ---take it back to the dealer

yes it would well more damn snow will be here thurs. so we will see what happens. i had some time tonight and just kinda went over the motor and found one of the intercooler pipes was not hooked up and a vac line. i knew somthing was off bc i never herd my bov working. but holly it does now.

my vote would be a loose vacuum line hiding somewhere and sucking up some water from some melted ice or something....
