lol well why didnt they come with 18's or 19's?

most cars come with terible stock rims--the sc was no exception

I still say 20's are the best fit for these cars IMO

True about the stock OEM rims on a SC Although the chrome IS300 and Supra TT wheels look really good to me.
19s is the highest i would go but thats just me
Im on 18s

I don't think they had 20" rims in the 90s. And if they did I'm sure they were a lot more expensive then they are now. Some factory cars like the Charger & Challenger come with factory dubs.

Unless you're going to be racing then skip the 20s. You don't need style to be fast. Now if you're going to daily it or just drive it then 20s look real good. My brother who's REALLY picky about rims even agreed after looking at some of the nice cars here that anything below 20 looks disproportionate on the SC.Also mentioned 20s are the minimum/max I should go with my car just because they fit the proportions of the car.

As for the pics posted by the 2 members, the cars look great. I hope more members that are wearing dubs can post some pics as well.

Just look how much larger the SC looks with the tiny 18s compared to how adequate 20s look on the SC.

18s

20s

yes alot of people seem to really like the supra tt wheels---they are not really my cup of tea but to each their own.

dont get me wrong---there are ALOT of sc's that look great with 18's or 19's---it is just my preference to see them with 20's

and as far as that video you posted-------those rims killed the vehicle in my opinion---my guess is they are 24's or 26's--wayyyyy too big

thanks for sharing

suislide, try putting 20's on a STOCK body and see how it looks.

IMO it'll look unproportional, if you have a kit as in your second picture it'll look great.
I agree 18 do look kind of small on 97 kit, but thats because i have step lip so it looks like 17's kinda.

I would probably get 19's MAX.

1willy1 show us your car.

guys i have another question i just cant get a strr8 answer on-----WHERE CAN I GET A 97+ KIT???????????
