i need to order some rims and tiers tonight. i have a 93 sc300 that will be used for drift and scca stuff. i was looking at the wheel guide and i am a lil lost. i want to with 17s no bigger. but i guess what i am asking is what is the best rim size for what i am going to do with them. 17x7 or 17x9 or ? and what offset? then what is a good tier to use for drift ones that will last a lil longer (scca one will be had at track)?

17s is a better idea for drifting cause tires are cheaper,
as for offsets i say around 30s up to 20 the most on a 9" rear just so you have more tire sizes to play with
the lower offset you go on a wider rim
-the more fender work you have to do
-the less tire width options you have
*ex my offset on my 10.5 rim is 26 and i can only get a 265 the biggest
+the wheel is flusher though
to high offsets on a wider rim
-itll be more sunk looking
-the negative camber and wide tire might rub on the inside of the fenderwall
I hope that helps some
