Default no power to radio

today i was installing my new pioneer head unit and everything was going fine and it worked. but there was a little buzzing coming out of the speakers so i decided to check all the wires. long story short one of the ground wires touched the yellow 12v wires and it cut off immediately. i thought i blew the pioneer, but i installed the factory radio and that one doesnt work either. anyone know wut i can do?

Let me guess, your cigarette lighter is broken too? There are 2 fuses for the radio: 1st under the hood, 2nd in the driver's side kickpanel.

If the one under the hood is good it's the one in the kickpanel.

BTW, ALWAYS disconnect the battery before you do anything to the car. First step in everything you do to your car

Lol I did disconnect the battery when I first installed but when I was testing it out and checking all the wires that's when it happened. Do u know which fuse it is in the kick panel?

Check your owners manual, or start pulling fuses and checking them.

Ok I got that problem fixed and it works again. Turns out it was the fuse. And now I'm back to my original problem which is that there is a buzzing sound coming out my speakers when the car is turned on. I checked that all wires are grounded
