I know this is an old thread but if any of you are curious I actually did it. Looked decent. But it was no longer an SC. Made some videos of fitting the front end and starting the rear conversion. Just FYI. They are "similar" cars. Didn't realize they were more like cousins than siblings.

Shame you lost all the footage.... I've had a few people ask if it was a Supra when they see it at a distance.
