Rides pretty stiff, little harsher than stock C5 Z06 suspension. I have to be careful over speed bumps, but let's me go around corners stupid fast. Very neutral with 245/40-18 all the way around. Understeers with staggered tires.

Bumpstops are still in great condition after 2 years of riding that low.
Right on. The hypercoils I bought today are 500 in the front, 250 in the back because I want as close to stock as possible. I also bought the helper springs because it looks like Bilstein changed something and people were having issues pre-loading. The helpers will give me more range at any rate. We have a lathe at work so I am going to see if I can talk our machinist into trimming off the inside of the sleeves rather than cutting off the end of the sleeve. Most of my stuff should be here wednesday. The bump stops are probably going to hold the show up. I ordered those from Amazon and I am looking at next week delivery.

Basically if you can't get your camber in spec, you are probably too low for optimal handling.
IKEA won't fix being too low though. You'll need a new sub-frame design for that.

Alright well on my way. The bilsteins arrived yesterday. I cut the sleeves today and now I am waiting for the hyper coils to arrive along with top hats and bump stops. Extremely easy assembly so far. I'll try to post some pictures later.

How much do you have invested in the gixxer set up?

Not bad. I priced everything out to be a little over $800 without new mounts and dust boots.

The Gixxer setup does not use dust boots. I also opted for the helper springs only because people as of late were having issues pre-loading the springs. Doesn't hurt to have and I didn't want to have to order them after the fact.

Ok here is what I did today. From what I read in the forums this project gets over thought a little bit. I think its a bit intimidating because while cheaper than an expensive coil over setup, its still a chunk of change.

The first thing I tackled was trimming the sleeves. We have a bandsaw at work and it only took about 20 minutes to do all 4.

Smoothed off the edges with the sanding wheel and used a file on the inner edge. Worked like a charm. Now I am just waiting for the springs and bump stops to arrive.
