I already own a 2009 Toyota Yaris for daily driving technically its the car I bought for my wife, but she walks to work usually since we live 2 blocks from her office. My commute is only 2 miles, and so I'll drive the Yaris or bicycle. I filled the Yaris last night and I've never paid that much to fill it before at $38.
I only drive my Nissan Frontier (which is supercharged and requires 91+) when I HAVE to use a truck. I'm seriously thinking about removing the Stillen SC kit off of it though. The price I pay for a premium fillup anymore out weighs the 60HP it added to be honest.
Bought the SC as a toy/project car, so its not going anywhere.
These prices are still a lot better than what I was paying in Germany. $110-115 to fill up a Ford Fiesta sucks. I'm curious how high it is per L there now.
There is NO reason to tap into the SPR. The oil prices are run up on fear, not supply.
