Well, I totaled my '93 SC400 about a year ago, and have been looking for another one ever since and finally found one in my area. Problem is, I think the guy is asking too much. Now, I'm obviously going to try and negotiate the price down, so I'm just trying to find the maximum price I'd be willing to pay.
I've checked the KBB, and other similar SC400's in my area (only two) and have come up with a max price of $7500. Although I would love to snag this for $7000. What do you guys think? Any thoughts/suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated.

first thing that scares me is "This car is a time capsule in the condition and miles that it is in".
low mileage cars that old always make me nervous.
Then, it's from a dealer (and I hate dealers), but that may be a good thing.
oh, and yes, that price seems way high. seems like you could get a 97+ for that
What's kbb/nada value in your area?

the price is too high but the mileage is very low.
Offer him 6 grand or somewhere around there
it is better to spend the extra money on the car now as opposed to paying less for a higher mileage car but will cost u more in repairsa later---------but 8 grand is too high.

I think I'm going to wait, I'm also not a fan of the grey interior.
