Default Advantages/difficulty in fitting A/M body kit yourself?

Aftere I get my baby sound mechanically, I'll be pulling the trigger on a Shine kit. Gonna be a while before I can get it painted though. Are there advantages to fitting your own body kit? How difficult is it? How much money (guesstimate in labor hours) would be saved? I'm not a machanic but am not scared to get invloved in a new project. Trying to save as much money as I can though. Is this course of action worth it? Thanks in advance.
BTW, I know at least the front bumper removal is in the DIY section.

its a good way to save cash for sure. it all depends on the kit, they all fit different and usually require trimming, shaving, filling and fitting over and over again until it fits nice so it can be a long process but if you can do it yourself it better than paying a body shop for all those hours it takes

Expect to spend a week or more as a novice playing around with autobody stuff. Honestly, in the end you would have wished a body shop did the work.
