I still find it difficult to believe that any sc300, be it auto, stick, NA, or turbo will pull 35mpgs. Maybe if it's piston melting lean at cruise and the tires have 50psi in them. Also, what rear gear are you guys running, what transmission, and how are you accounting for discrepancies in tire height, gear ratio, and differences in speedo drive gear tooth count between the various trannys? I can only estimate my MPGs because I have an auto car swapped to 5-speed with the stock gears in it still. That means my car will always SEEM to get better mileage than it really is.

If a 6.3L Corvette gets 26-28

Then a 3L turbo can do better

Poor comparison. LSX engines are well known for their spectacular highway mileage. It is the norm, and expected for LSX equipped cars to get those numbers.

It is NOT the norm for an sc too even break high 20s on the highway. Or Supras for that matter, which are lighter, and probably have a lower dc.

Here is my excel sheet so you can figure it you avg mpg easily. Just make sure to always fill it up when its under a 1/4 tank and always right your mileage at the time of the fillup. If people dont know how to find mpg out already its simple.

(always Get a receipt) Record Miles from last fill. Next file note miles and see how many gallons you pumped. Minus new mileage from last fills miles and you will get total miles driven. Divide by Gallons pumped=AVG Mpg

from dead empty i pumped in 8.49 gals drove right at 160 i did this 2 times and i still avg around 17-18mpg this is just driving around town with mid grade @ 3.53 gal

at the time i didn't really think about logging a full fill up which cost around 70$ in sc and prob 80 here in nc

this is with no tune up

on the other hand i had a full tank of gas when i down hwy 64 to morganton got off the ramp went to hickory to hh greg and from there drove to the spartanburg sc hh greg speeding like a bat outta hell to pickup my new surround sound. i was prob 80 most of the way down there. didn't hardly use any gas at all

Just went roundtrip from vegas to phoenix and back, most of the trip was 80-85 mph with cruise control on.

I always put 91 octane in.

It got 24.7mpg one leg of the trip!

the rest of the trip it was 22-24

It was average 110 degrees outside so I imagine better mpg is possible when it's cooler out, and I'm not running the AC constantly.

All I have is a BFI, and straight pipe after the cats, and it's a 92 sc400!

I get about 17 in city and about 20 on the highway. Maybe because my car are on heavy wheels. Might affect its MPG.
