Talking changed maf = supercar!!!!! explain

I have 94sc400 the maf was replaced. it had a fmz3ayy2 an i replaced it with fmz3ayy1 (order mistake but tried it any way) an man my gas miles are way better, car is powerful an very very responsive. hardly no lag when slowing down from high speeds an then getting right back own her. motor sounds more aggressive. i mean boi!!!!!!!!!!!! My question is will this blow my motor or my electronics?

there is a long standing thread that has many many people claiming that if you unplug your MAF you will have much more tourque and or power.

The dowfall is you get worse gas mileage.

Perhaps this new MAF you put in is having the same effect as taking it out entirely.

my guess is your previous MAF was defective and now that you have a properly working MAF things are back to normal

I think I should replace my MAF. Anyone got the part number for a 2JZ-GE 97 5spd.? I'll begin my search for it and if no ones posted I'll inform.
