Dying to know more about your 97 widebody mix and match 
been saving to pay to have the body shop make it happen out of steel but would rather go for fiber glass and work with it. do you have a thread that sneeks a peak at what happened there? I checked out two other threads hoping to see and I will continue to poke around. If not shoot me a message if you'd like to reveal a few tips. Love the car. Unreal build.. has inspired me to fork out the dough to build my UZ then do a jz swap..

Small update...
Im starting to Loathe this car....Everything that can go wrong is, and all at once...
~So we have been chaseing this weird short out problem for over 2 weeks, Found the problem as a relay
~Then we go to button everything back up come to find out there is some major play in the clutch pedal and its not building pressure behind the clutch. We trace lines and bleed, Rebleed, and ReRebleed everything. Still no pressure. We think its the master so we test it and its fine. On further inspection the throw out baring isnt shimmed out enough. So we take EVERYTHING back off and remove the tranny to re-shim the slave and T.O bearing to spec.
~Get in to start the car, Cluster doesnt work, OD light, Check Engine light, all those work but the tach and speedo, Temp and gas dont light up or even seem to be getting signal... Still trying to figure that out...
~ Start the car only to find out we have developed a wicked miss, Spark plugs 1 and 6 are bad (even tho they are brand new) we replace plugs and it runs for a good 20 min on the lift then...
~Miss returns, sounds like its cammed. Revs slow and seems to have zero power, Thinking its the Fuel ECU or possibly the main ECU... havent figured it out yet...
At this point I am blaming everything on "JuJu" the voodoo doll my wife found on the beach when we were on our hunny moon and begged me to hang from my rear view mirror. She claimed it would bring me luck....
You can see the little bastard chillin here...
Planning the exorcism now, Hopefully If JuJu allows, the car will be road worth in 2 weeks
