Default White Rims on White SC300 Opinions?

I'm always into white rims on white cars. In the near future 1-3 months, I'm looking for a set of white rims. Perferrably 18'' or 19'' in size.

I dont know too much about rims. But I have had my eyes set on the Volks TE37 in White for my 300ZX Twin Turbo but never got around in purchasing it.

Now with the SC300 I've just purchased, this might happen. I'm looking to spend anywhere from $1500-$3000 for a set of white rims.

Photos of White SC300/400 on White rims will be appreciated.

Throw a few brands out there if you dont mind.

At the moment, I'm looking at the Volks TE37 in white and the Varrstoen ES 2.2.2.

White on white is a little tough because of the pearl paint. The wheels will really stick out unless you match them. Either way white on white looks great.

Just like ChewBAKA says: the stark white will be a miss match to the DWP color that all the white SC's came in. It would like a fail. Unless the car matched the wheels.....not hating at all. I have a white SC and I already tried it. It was an epic fail. Gun Metal color is just more updated.

I dont think the White on white looks too bad. I dont like the rims in that link, But I do like the rims you've picked out. I'd give em a try. I think they would look great!

Thanks for the replies.

For sure it's going to be White Rims. I'm not in a rush at the moment. My SC300 came with 15'' OZ Italy rims.. I'm not sure what they are but the tires are brand spanking new. I only work 3 miles away so this will work for the time being until I gather all the parts for the exterior work.

I've mentioned before I paint cars for fun, just one of my passion and hobby.

The SC300 definetely will be painted down the line. Not in a rush on that either.

So far this is my overall goal of how the SC300 is going to turn out would be this.

-SC300 97+ Conversion
-Fresh new White Glossy paint so the White Varities of Rims doesn't matter.
-5zigen Fireball Mega Exhaust
-TE37 in 18'' or Varrstoen ES 2.2.2. in 18''-19'' inch.
-Tire brand, size, I'm not sure yet
-Might get a aftermarket Front Lip for the 97+ Conversion (Haven't decide yet)
-Zeal Super Function Suspension Kit

Af far as exterior, that's a overall look of it.

For the Interior, I"m a music person also. Not into cheap mumbo jumbo crap.

I've always used Zapco brand products. I"m planning to spend roughly 4.5k on the upgrading of the sound system.
Will have independent lows, mids and high all one different equalizers.

Engine wise, I haven't given much though yet as far as upgrading it. It drives well and I'm just enjoying it.

I've been reading about 1JZ motors and have been pondering it. I will have to contact my previous boss and see if he can import it from Japan along with all the other motors that he gets. I know he has the 2JZGTE Motors/Tranny in stock. Several Motor options to choose from.

I'm sure I'm capable of doing these swap fairly easy.. I've done 6 VG30DE Twin Turbo engines swaps and let's say.. room wise is not so great but that's not that difficult as well.

The 18''-19'' Varrstoen ES 2.2.2. Wheels are $1200 without tires. It's more glossier than the TE37. I've seen it in person before.
The Volks TE37 18'' are white but doesn't shine that much. None the less, they're awesome rims. I believe I can walk away with it for $2500-$2800 without tires.

White TE37's. yes. Not only will they be lighter and more durable than the Varrstoens, they will hold their value 10x more.
