Is the sc300 and 400 auto trans the same?

Is the sc300 and 400 auto trans the same?
First are the bellhousings the only difference? So could I just swap them if it is even possible?
I need a core trans to send out to be built as well as a converter and found one for cheap so I just need to find out more info on them?
I just need the valvebody and converter to be the same most of all.
