googled the number one result was a fax the other was for the biohazard commision of ohio, dont worry i lost hope a long time ago on this i just dont know where else to look for a decent 97+ sc, or even a decent sc of any year in my area. the few scs that i find are either in frigan virginia (and cost 7000+) or the one or two others are from 8000 to 13000 which everyone seems to agree are grossly overpriced...WHERE ARE THE SC'S IN MY AREA?! i dont know where else to look besides autotrader and yahoo n this is all i find..

listed phone number comes up as a land line in Columbus, OH. so after more searching and using several search engines to cross reference this is the only match I found

dont be put off by low prices as sometimes there are deals out there.

i got my 93 bone stock sc400 with 80 000 miles for $2400.

Mint interior---engine ran like a dream---radiodidnt work --sunroof was touch and go---otherwise in great shape.

To me it was a steal.

I was very blessed to find it

than I found a set of deep dish chrome MSR 20's with rubber for $900.00

$3300 altogether and I was feeling pretty good about myself.

Just keep up the search, you'll eventually find something. I buy and sell cars a lot and ALWAYS wait to come across a deal to make a move. In the past year I've purchased a VERY clean GS-T eclipse w/ 99k miles, perfect interior, engine bay and completely stock - some crappy aftermarket 16" wheels for 2500 bucks. Turned around 2 weeks later and sold it for 5k (and that was cheap) after only putting about 30 bucks into it.

I got my 95 SC300 with 130k, clean interior, nice wheels (that i sold) and mechanically sound for 2800 bucks. I looked for about 5 months for something in this range and almost gave up hope on finding a clean one for under 3k but low and behold...

My point is, dont give up on the search, you'll find something. Also, dont settle just because you're anxious to get something, that's the worst thing you could do.

If it's not a scam, theres something seriously wrong with the car. Even body damage and engine issues won't make a 2jzgte sc go down to 3500, I sold my first SC which had considerable body damage and the turbo burned oil like crazy for over 5k, and it wasn't even hard to sell. Either this car needs a new motor, needs a new trans or is inoperable in some way, or its a scam.

Someone seems to be playing a prank, on us specifically.

When I was looking, nothing good came up locally at first. A week later, there was a Florida GTE SC300 I recognized off CL for $3900 on autotrader.ca - of course only one picture and the phone number leads nowhere.

Then, a 1997 SC400 came up in Alberta, suspiciously price also at $3900. This time the seller left an email. I inquired about mileage, condition, history and all that stuff. I get an email back claiming the seller has left Canada but if I wired them the money through PayPal, they assured a pristine SC400 would be shipped to Toronto. Yeah, right.

Next, an NA-T SC300, also from CL came up on the local auto trader for, you guessed it, $3900.

I'm not sure who the person is perpetuating this and why they choose desirable SC's to initiate their scam. I'm fairly sure we're dealing with the same individual(s) in this case.

interesting...take your time bro, you'll find what you're looking for. don't rush it! until then you could always start collecting parts, especially if your car intentions revolve around the SC...this way you're not spending too much all at one time. GL with the car hunt.
