Default wheel setup..

does anybody have 18 inch wheels with 235 40 tires on a stock sc?
if so how much space is inbetween the wheel well and the tire?

am i correct in assuming that the h&R (also eibachs)springs lower your car by an inch??

i HAD 18 inch wheels with 235/40/18 tires. there was a gap of course, but you NEED to lower it IMO. there's just too much with your low profile tires and larger rims. looks funny. if you get a body kit, invest in 19's, because once you get your kit on, your 18's will look like 17's.

eibach's will lower your car about an inch. H&R about 1.5, as will eibach's for the supra. correct me if i'm wrong anyone...

There is so much contraversy over this, I don't know what to believe anymore between the Eibach Supra NA prokit, Eibach Supra TT prokit, Supra TT stock, Eibach SC400 prokit, Eibach SC300 prokit, and now there's talk of H&R springs! I think I'll just take a blind shot in the dark and pick one to buy randomly...

Talking

hehe, rich, that's funny. i'm confused too, but i know for a fact that H&R do make springs for the SC400. I used to work for an auto body for German cars and was flipping through the dealer brochure; low and behold they make springs for the SC. This was back in 98!

and jeez, the talk about supra springs....where to start. you have to get KYB shocks too? i dunno. i gave up on the supra thing. People have them installed on the SC300, but i can't seem to remember any SC4's.

i just wanted to add, my new HID's are the shiznit!!!

Do-luck, you should try new bulbs too whenever you get the chance. Ours are used equipment from a factory BMW so who knows how long they've been used (could be more than two years). I lined up with a new BMW 540 with HIDs and his were slightly more brilliant than mine, but covered the same area.
