I've used this thing countless times in the winter when my tank cover freezes shut.

I was thinking the exact same thing what to do with it now I removed it..that's a good thread idea post of pic of what you put in your hole were the stock cd player was..I saw a thread for the battery also I like your storage idea...I live in texas always need storage for a 45 hahahaha

All you do is remove the bottom of the CD changer, a bunch of small screws and a few from the sides and the entire mechanism will fall out. Put back the bottom back and remount the CD changer. You can then just slide the cover open and you have storage.





It look just as if you have the factory changer there still.

wish they made it nicer when i first seen mine i was like wow this is a ghetto piece of wire twisted onto a piece of plastic
and least my buddies evo has a nice setup for his lol

sweet! my 92 has it. but im afraid my CDchanger says there is an error. think i might take it out. im more of a "change CD's on the Fly" kinda guy anyway. i really dont like aftermarket radio's. but i need my Aux in to i can stream internet radio.
