After you bring your old caliper back you get the 45.00 or w.e core charge is. Comes out to 51.00 for the front left caliper.

I mean if you dont give them your old caliper you obv have to eat that 45.00 core charge.

Lol, i thought about this. And i know it'd be mean, and wrong, but what if you returned your SC calipers, in place of the LS ones, just to recoup some funds, which of course, makes it much cheaper.

same

on a side note was talking to my neighbor about the LS upgrade for the SC and he mentioned that 82-84ish calipers off of a land cruiser/4runner were 4piston calipers and may be a cheaper route for budget minded (ie broke) anyone heard of this before?

Anything I buy thats OE replacement I always check these guys first. For example I bought pads for another car and with a 10 off coupon code I got a 10.00 mothers quick detail for basically free.

Default What wheel size needed with LS400 brakes?

I looked at the Supra TT brake kit and noticed that it requires wheels of at least 17" diameter. What are the wheel size requirements when switching to the LS400 rotors and calipers?

I have the OEM 16" wheels on my SC300.

Heh, I actually did this about 2 months ago when I first got my SC.

Try code P20, thats 20% off entire order, not to mention get get free shipping on orders over $75. Hopefully it still works.

I shouldn't admit to this, but I returned my ****ty original SC calipers as core. I've been playing that game for a long time with O'Reillys and Advanced and nothing has ever come of it. Like those guys know what they're looking at in the store (usually). Theres a first time for everything though, and if a MASS amount of SC calipers show up as core you can bet something might change. That's why I never make posts like this on forums... to keep the game rolling for me

With the discount code I got my calipers + rotors for $223.58 shipped.

Always look at your rebuilds closely, but ive never had one let me down. I certainly trust them over some original take offs in a junkyard or what some of the people hock on here for $300+.

Here they are:

Oh, and if you need pads there was a code called BRAKE25 for awhile that took 25% off all pads.

If you play this discount right, it's about 30-40% off
