AutoLamps Lights + Uniform all around
I'm about to order the 9006 HID Kit from AutoLamps. While I'm doing this upgrade, I figured I need to have a uniform look across the board.
In another words, other than the low beam Mod, I'd like to also:
1. Change out the dim parking lights that does practically nothing (1 flick on the light switch).
2. Change the fog lights to something brighter and HID?
3. Change the high beam to day time running lights , so that I can turn it on w/out having the headlights (low beam) on.
What's the best bulb out there for each of the 3 above? What is it called (part#?) and what wattage?
Other than the three above, feel free to throw in the rear reverse lights, and or signal blinker lights?
I've done a search for million of posts but none is comprehensive enough and provides a uniform across the board look. Please add you input!

I really want my high beams to be daytime running lights too.So when you get that info about the wattage please let me know. I also wanted my reverse lights to be signal lights

i've done a search and looks like to do any of this, you need to make a relay and some wiring.
since i'm a newbie, i'm not there yet to be able to do this.
however, i'm learning and my HID kit is being prepared to sent to me (sometimes next week). once I get under the hood and start playin, maybe i'll figure it out and write up a detailed review...

hehe, you can get those parking lights (in the headlamps) which are called wedge bulbs. they are the same as your side markers. look under the search feature with the word "piaa" and you'll find plenty of posts. if you want them to match, get the 1194 number, but dont' quote me on that. it's hard matching the turn signals with my new hid's, so i might just put them back to amber.
a fellow CL member "howiedoit" suggested to me to maybe wire my turn signals to leave them on. hehe, if i do that, i'm going to need them matching...

Yeah, Do-Luck...I had them all wired to stay on but with HIDs...it's hard to match. =(
Unfortunately, I hate the amber look and because my car is totally white, I like to have my lights clear.
I've gone through about 3 sets of lights to try to make it match my HIDs, but so far, no luck. I have 3 different colors of white on my car. The HIDs, the clear corners, and the cornering lamps.

I don't think there's a difference in brightness but only in color. The 4300K hids are the best for drivers at night and for yourself. The higher the rating, the more it turns purplish. My 5300k is a bluish color.
I think that's somewhat correct, sorry i'm vague in my explanation.

Up here in canada the Highs are already wired to be our daytimes, they are always on... unless lows are on. I think it would be really cool if they just stayed on now that you mention it... 24/7... as the yellowish ting. I am using eurolite bulbs for my parking lights, they are little wedges. I am also using eurolite for my tag lights, looks awesome! I will take some pics tonight if I remember my camera. The highs I use the same as well as the lows. I will take pics for you later. Sometime I will get real HID, it just looks so sweet.
