interior falling apart
had my 96 sc400 for 5yrs, always been in carport or garage, when i got it the window garnish was cracked along with center vent. in the last year my eboot, glove box, door panels and backseat have all split or cracked, it seems like once a month its something new. very depressing.

thats really strange that your glovebox and back seats have cracked, door panels and vents is normal though

Also, What do you clean your leather parts with? That might have alot to do with it as well.
P.S Near heart attack! My Ducks (Currently in 8th) tied the game with 6.5 seconds left in the 3rd, and then score in OT against the Stars...They play the Predators (Currently in 7th) tomorrow in Nashville...

That's your problem. Leather and vinyl need different cleaners and neither work well for the other. My guess would be that you're dressing the vinyl with something that's causing the plasticizers to harden up. One of the WORST things is ArmorAll. As long as you keep using it, you're fine but the minute you stop, all your vinyl with dry up and crack on you. Maybe you didn't use it but maybe a PO did?

I am currently refurbing my interior right now and can sympathize. The door panels are a pain, but if you grab some vinyl/leather repair filler you might be able to repair some of it with a little patience. SEM makes some. Good luck.
