Default Help!!!

do you have to remove the cats in order to pull the trans? I have a sc400.. The three nuts on each of the cats a very hard to get to, being that the cats are a bigger round than the flange that the studs are on. In desparate need of help on the subject.

Just below the cats are 2 more flanges. Get to em from underneath. Each of those only have 2 bolts on them. Easy to get to and get undone. 14mm IIRC.
