1uz with r154 help!!

Ok so im doing a 1uz swap n a car n im trying to find out about what to do for the clutch set up. I dont want to just get a kit for $1-2k what i need to know s what bellhousing, flywheel n clutch set ups have been used n what modifications had to b done to make it work. Keep n mind hp goal s 5-6oohp turbo set up. Any info, specs n links b greatly appreciated.

You can use your stock bellhousing from the 1uz, but you'll need to have an adapter made up. I'm starting to search this stuff as well, so i can have all my sources available when I'm ready.
go over to lextreme dot com. That is where you really need to be for v8 info.

There is a lot more info on this in toyota truck forums... just use google...
I was looking all this up because I thought I was going to land this government job... but found out this afternoon the co-op program didn't hire everyone and I wasn't one of those hires.... bastards.... so yeah.... google and lextreme have the most info....common sense haha

I might actually sell my bellhousing adapter place, stainless clutch lines and hydraulic throwout bearing with spacers for my r154 swap. I decided to buy the whole kit so i will have left over parts (mentioned above) i wont need! PM me if interested! I also have a r154 driveshaft...if i have a 1 piece shaft made ill sell the oem one too

They actually have it done. They just have to put a 1UZ in a customer's MKIII with the R154 for "proof". Should be proven within the month I would hope. I believe they are only waiting on the customer to acquire a Tilton hydraulic throwout bearing so they can get the install moving along.
