What sizes are the Front and Rear speakers on the SC300?

I read numerous website stating the Rear speakers are 6x9's.

I went ahead and purchase new speakers in the size of 6x9 before removing the old one and found out that the 6x9 doesn't fit. I guess I should of taken it out first and then order the right size.

If the informations online on different websites states that the Rear is 6x9's.. is this on a higher year 97 SC300 Maybe?

I'm curious to see how the 6x9 fits the Rear speakers. I've tried every way possible other than hacking the rear speakers frame.

I just put the 6x9's on there with no screws for the time being until I find out if there is a way to mount the 6x9 or not. If not, I will have to replace the 6x9 I've bought and go with a 5.25''.

I take it the front is 5.25'' from reading online as well. But I haven't order those yet.

I know the sub is 8'' and most people go with Cadence brands as a replacement.

Any inputs on the Rear speakers of the fitting size 6x9 is appreciated.
