Hey guys,
I'm a newbie because I just purchased a 92 SC300. The only weird thing is, is that I have yet to see the car. I purchased it on ebay and the car is out of state. I think I got a great deal on the car, but wanted to get some opinions from you guys.
1992 SC300
Black on tan leather
103k miles (one owner)
automatic, with new tires
fully loaded
mint condition (for a 10yr old car)
The car looks great from the pictures, and i purchased the car from a dealer for even more assurance. I only paid $7,500 for the car.
What do you guys think? Good deal or no? I can't wait to drive it. I've always wanted a black Lexus SC.

Welcome to the forums SupraLB, sounds like you got a good deal to me. From your Supra roots, I'm wondering if you plan on making this a project car? You know the GTE+Getrag swap, etc.

Thanks for the compliments. I did a carfax before I bid on the car, and it came up clean with only one owner. I haven't lurked around this forum enough, but you can get free carfax searches from the guys over at Supraforums.
This car will remain mostly stock. Any and all performance mods go straight to my Supra. It needs more speed to go with the looks.
I wasn't even worried about buying the Lexus with that many miles. After owning 2 Toyota Supras, and reading about other Lexus cars, I know it will drive great. There is just something about that Toyota/Lexus reliability.
