vwlover thats really nice of you to keep me in mind--thanks alot
When i first heard bmw i was skeptical but wow an 840 with that low mileage is very impressive.
the sc is quite rare here but that 840 is even rarer---in fact i cant remember the last time ive ever seen one driving around.
Your going to turn heads with that car forsure.
Good luck man and maybe u can post some more pics of your new ride when you get it

So nobody is gonna tell this guy this is the biggest mistake he can make....WELL I WILL. The 4.0 V8 of the time was great for the 540i with the 6spd manual. But it didn't have enough torque to make this car even merge onto the highway. She's a heavy *****. 850i and ci were another story (V12). Electrical gremlins abound and don't let that second battery impress you back there, It was BMW compensating for the uneven weight distribution of the car. Traction control will not help tame that mass on slick roads at all. And get a crack in that nose and you're lookin at 5g's worth of repair...and it will crack. Poor structural design. One of the sexiest LOOKING cars from BMW...of course. Headache of ownership...yes. But the heart wants what the heart wants. G/L

Thanks guys!!!! The BMW 8 series are solid cars..the problem with Europeans cars.....are the maintenance demands....the maintenance must be done on time....period!!!!
The 850 was my first choice, however,I just could not pass up this printine one owner gem.
When it comes to reliability...the Asian cars rule supreme.
I am going to modify my garage for another vehicle........so selling is not a big rush.....
I will keep her until the right buyer comes along.......parting her out is my last option....
thanks guys!!!!

if you can afford the maintnance awsome, but with how much that car is going to cost to mantain you could of build 3 GTE SCs...lol good luck with whatever you decide...even though i think you already made up your mind. Even if you do regular maintnance BMWs still have major reliability issues.
