I went to Walmart and purchased a 35 gallon cheapo trashcan for $9.99. boiled up 15 gallons of water which I had to do about 5 gallons at a time with my turkey fryer pot. Added a whole container of iodized salt and about 5 bottles of black dye and 2 dry packages of black only because everyone was out of this stuff wherever I went. Mix well. Roll the carpet up and put it in. Use something heavy to hold it down. Wait 4 days.

It's really not. There are some great DIY on dash removal and most of it becomes painfully obvious once you start. Go get yourself a box of gallon zip lock bags and as you take stuff off put it in the bag and label it. One piece at a time. Before you know it there's nothing in the ca and you have a stack of parts in your garage to clean, repair, replace and refinish. And after it's all done, you will know your interior like the back of your hand.
Your carpet and interior pieces came out pretty good. It looks like it came like that stock. What did you do about the text on the buttons and ***** for the radio, climate control, door panels, and sunroof? Did you paint over them?

That's definitely a confidence booster. I'll give it a shot here in a few weeks. I can't wait to dye my interior. I like the black/grey interiors so much better than my old man tan one.

Yes. I sanded the glossy portion off the wood trim and I have painted it the silver. Coated them with a couple coats of high gloss than Ill polish. They are drying right now. Excited to see how it comes out.
