Default Lextech Lighting

Is LextecH still in business? Their website is still up but no one seems to be answering e-mails (the lights are on but nobody's home?). Their forum is also not accepting new registrations. If they're gone, is anyone doing instrument needle repair/replacement any more?

Also, is there info somewhere, here or elsewhere) on replacing the cluster, climate and radio backlights with LED's? Thanks.

Tim

Thanks for the info. Glad to know they're still around. My '92 needles are still in remarkably good shape, but the speedo is starting to flicker and I know it's just a matter of time.

BTW, I'm new here; how do I "PM OTL?" Thanks again

I'd go elsewhere if you are looking to get your cluster redone...Do a search and you'll understand why...unanswered emails are just the beginning...I've been there and done that, and I will never do it again...

Default Lextech alternative

If I don't use Lextech, who else is there?

Also, no one has responded yet about the possibility of replacing the back-light bulbs with LEDs (and how to do it).

Thanks to all.

Search...there is one in FL that has been discussed on the forums, as well as many DIY threads that other members have compiled, both by soldering the leds in and just flat out replacing the bulbs...

There are a few people who also offer the services on ebay that i've seen.

Oh man lol. I eventually need to re-light my needles. I'm getting tired of squinting down at gauges.

You can do it yourself for less than $10 in supplies. Super easy. Here is a DIY I did a few years ago but sadly the pics are gone forever....
