The maximum TQ capacity on ACT clutchs for R154 is 632ft lbs TQ not 850 lbs, i know because i went thru the same issue.
Send it back to ACT they can install a 4th strap with 4th rivet on it for you, but make sure you have someone look at that trans it's not normal.

Stainless isn't strong enough for that kind of torque at all. Well, any kind of torque really.

Where did you get the clutch from? vendor on here ? call them and tell them what happen, they ask you to take some pics and send the clutch sometimes they will just ask you to send the clutch and ACT will rebuild it for you for free and add the 4th strap i am not sure about the 5th one haha.

I went thru the same crap i broke 2 of the rivets twice i don't think you are more enough torq to break them.
Call ACT and they will handle it for you no worries Phone: (661) 940-7555

How is the rest of the stuff on your car ? Does the tranny need a rebuild?

Damn brother that sucks, I hope my HD holds up better than that. Always wondered why the straps looked just like oem and they never tried to make a stronger setup

I had the hD lol and the strap broke 2 of them and twice haha, it's a never ending project bro when you start you don't know when to stop dumping into it.
Like i said call ACT they will cover it under warranty and just save for a twin disc and with the twin disc please don't get SPEC because it's a POS it's cheap but no realiable.

I have a dual friction centerforce in my chevy. Pushing 600ft/lbs no issues.
