Default Rear ended today PICS

So some b***h decides to effin rear end me today. Great effing way to start off the weekend, considering I have a drift event I registered for tomorrow...

Her fault, luckily it was an autozone company car so I'm sure insurance will pay up, but now it's never going to be the same, I'm sure I'll be required to get a salvage title...

Anyone have any idea at what the insurance company would value the damage at? Just trying to get a ball park estimate so I won't get ripped off.

IDK. They may settle without totaling out your car.

That's a tough one. Remove the trunk carpet and take a good picture of the I-beam so we can tell what's going on. You may have gotten off easy, but not sure.

Turns out it's A LOT WORSE than I thought! I don't even know what to think about it. Should I even consider a new chassis at this point? I want to go talk to a body expert asap, sucks it won't be done until Monday. And after that, I'm going to call the insurance and see what's going on...

Chassis is obviously bent. It's not bent in a "critical" spot, but bent non the less...check it out...

Does it drive straight? If the hit did not affect the suspension, you should still be able to take care of it on cheap enough money. A good enough body guy could take care of that without even painting the car.

Yeah still drive straight as an arrow, thank god it didn't mess with my suspension, because I'm drifting tomorrow lol

After the event, I'm still wanting to throw it on the alignment rack and see if all the specs are still the same.

meh if it doesn't really affect the car besides the superficial damage on the outside then who cares. Drift the **** out of it now.

Get it on a frame rack to measure the corners. It can be pulled straight for sure. Painting the quarter panel sucks on these cars since there isn't really a good breaking point. you can do a clear blend behind the window but make sure whoever does it knows what they are doing. If you have a friend who does body work you could get it done less than 1k bucks. Insurance will say, frame labor, refinish quarter, r&r bumper cover and reinforcement, paint quarter and rear end. Might be damn close to a total. But theres ways around that

I would keep rocking it. Still sucks and glad no one was hurt. Be happy that autozone is trying to buy you a vertex widebody.
