I mean really man, 10 or 20 bucks isn't that much. If you must, buy the cheap one now to get the cops off your a$$ and upgrade later.

When looking at them, it is not white, but when it is output into the road, it is white. It is alot brighter than the normal bulbs. HID are HID, there not much to say.

Get a cheap *** walmart bulb and order the DDM's. I remember paying $30 for them with a lifetime warranty sometime last year. I recommend 35W and 5000k if you want optimal output and don't want to upgrade the harness as well. If you want to annoy people and have worse light output (but look cool to people that aren't annoyed by it) than you can get the 6000k+ colors.

I use DDMs for lows and fogs, and Silverstars for my highs

Yeah, they don't look totally white when I look at them from outside the car, but at night, they look white. It's really weird. They're brighter than the stock bulbs, but not quite as bright as my 6000k HID's.

Here a suggestion. If you want to go cheap for now. Get two high beam bulbs (9005) file down or cut off the extra tabs on them and use those. They are 65w and much brighter.
