I agree with Klaus...but honestly it's what you like. Either way, good luck with what ever you decide.

Is that an LFA? Red carpet would get so dirty so fast. The red seat inserts and belts looked the best IMO.

Nope just a mild mannered GS350 with the "Passionate Black" RARE interior combo- seriously this was only like an $800 option and they only made a little over 50 of them. Red carpet will get no dirtier than tan, and that GS350 interior comes with black floor mats which I have

Honestly, I didnt like any of them, but you are starting to see so many all black interiors now. It seems that everyone is doing it. I still havent seen anything that looks better than all black and a different woodgrain look. JMO.

There are two cars I've seen that pulled off the full red interior. This might help you visualize what will work and what might look cheesy...
I can only find one of them, the other one was a Widebody SC with a custom G35 rear kit and radiused fenders...
I'm sure someone has the pics... Here's the Soarer:

In my opinion the only way to pull off a partial red interior is to spend the money and do it right with quality materials and good balance...
Otherwise it's going to look like a ricer Honda.

Well I like your rendering the seat belts id leave black but the 2 tone on the rear panels look great. So good luck post up pics when your done. Glad you get less negative feed back about your red 2 tone then my cinnamon black 2 tone.

Dude there is sooo much going on in that interior I don't even know where to begin.... Personally I think you went way overboard and lal the different colors just take away from an otherwise clean interior design. Wood trim needs to go asap too.

too much going on? Its 2 colors, black and red! I dunno what ya mean by too much going on. The wood is temp, I have extra pieces im making in carbon fiber as well as the seat bases (thats why i said i havent finished it). So yeah its all black with just the red sem'd portions.

Dude just keep what your doing and roll with it. Check out my thread on my interior. People told me it looked better with a smashed window with glass in it and ripped seats then now. People tend to buck new ideas.

not feelin it, personally if you kept the entire interior black and just the seats red it would look better. Two tone is a no go imho.

I was toying around with the same idea after driving my friends 2010 335xi, liked it but then I figured there are other alternatives. Was thinking then maybe a really dark brown for the seats and the rest in black.... but ultimately im most likely gonna stick with the grey and have it redone including having all the panels wrapped.

Default Red interior

Thanks for all the feedback. Good to see all the creative thinking. I'll think I'll stick to the all-black for a while. It's good to mix it up a bit from time to time. Maybe I'll buy some red floor mats for a change of pace.

FYI, I parked next to one of these this morning at work!
