Keep it over 40 and under 50 and you'll be fine.
Ideally you wanna be at 45-50. I think stock is 50mm.
Fronts are way more critical for offset.
If you're running extremely wide or tall wheels (19"-20") and 9-11" wheel width, those offsets may not clear the body or suspension, though.
My thoughts on ideal wheels for the SC300:
Fronts 18x9 45-50mm 255/35
Rear 18x10 45-50mm 285/30

Oh, here we go again with the offsets
....
Scott, it is +50 stock, you're right as always. markie, it's 5x114.3 pattern, and ppl will tell you all kinds of crap re: offset, take it from Scott and me, don't let them sell you a set of +38 offset all around, you'll get nice turn-in, but the tramlining that you'll also get will outweigh the benefit, IMO. Next most important (other than quality) is weight, some wheels are so heavy you will feel the car get slower. Stock SC 16" wheels with all season tyres weigh in the low-mid 40's each, so play it safe and try to find wheels that don't weigh more than 25 lbs each, if you're a baller, some of those Dubs are wellll over 30lbs each, the car will definitely slow up, unsprung weight makes a biiig difference.
