after i washed them, i first used soapy water and a lot of rags to clean up all the dust that had settled in. then i used some meguiars leather cleaner and conditioner spray to get them really clean

ok so first you have to remove the bolts to your lexus seats there are 5 of them 3 in back and 2 in front all 14mm, to get to them you need to get the plastic covers off as shown above, i uses a small screwdriver to pry them off, i pried at the sides carefully, i still managed to screw one up so be careful and if the bolts are pretty tight use an impact gun to get them out or else youll strip them, theres not much room to get good leverage

heres the front two

so now that theyre out its good to look for change from previous owners in the ducts! oh and clean up whatever you find

comparison of shape and color shade of supra seat and stock lexus seat

well 1 thing i was missing was the seat belts so i used my lexus seatbelt which unplugs at the bottom and comes out with a 14mm socket, also gotta take apart some of the plastic for it to fit right or else it will look like this

now for the power driver seat, in order for it to work you have to remove the two plugs from the connector on the supra seat using a small screwdriver, and i mean really small, you can get one at any auto parts store! heres the connector

and once they are out you simply plug them to the corresponding color/gage wire on your lexus seat harness once in try them and make sure they work, then get the seat in and bolt it back and youre done!

make sure to be careful when bringing seats into the car or this will happen

before:

and now

I see this as a downgrade, but that's just my opinion

i know they dont look all that great but they sure are much different and hold you in more, also they let you get more headroom as you sit lower, but definitely like the way they feel

looks can be deceiving, the feel is the upgrade not the looks, getting them re-leathered soon to match the interior though. and these are not permanent, just summer seats, i will keep my lexus seats for the winter.

I have never really been a fan of swapping for Supra seats. Those were in better condition than yours, leather wise.. I just think they are more uncomfortable than the stock SC seats.. JMO.. As long as you like them, thats all that matters.

Thanks for sharing the DIY on installing them.. I always thought you had to use the stock SC bracket.. I guess not.. Good job!
