Hey guys well today I gave up on my search for blk door panels. Well I took my tan ones and found paint to match the blk dash and the rest of the interior. Well I painted with a vinyl paint and then I took and wet sanded them. From there i let them sit and used a blk paint and it matches but it dripped aa little. I have to wet sand it again at 1000 grit and then I will cover it with a light coat. So far it sis a perfect match.
Alright here are the panels when I first got the car.
Now when I compared them to the ones in my MKIV they almost match perfect.
I will be fitting them back in the car today and we will see where we end up. Tell me what you think how close is this looking?

I'm interested in seeing the finished product, most people just clean the surface with thinner and apply an adhesion promoter before painting the vinyl parts.
I used this stuff by SEM called SEM soap. It removes all dirt, oils etc. Its also a mild abbrasive so it acts as an adhesion promoter. Says so on the bottle. I recommend yall try it...works great. If you have a Tan interior and dont want to change the color if it then it makes it look like NEW!!!
