Default Opinion on these mufflers

Okay, I know that we said no ebay links, but I REALLY need everyone's opinion on this one:

http://cgi.aol.ebay.com/ebaymotors/w...tem=1854835222

I am looking to upgrade my exhaust, but I really don't know much about mufflers. I want my car to sound noticeably different (in other words, not as quiet as stock). I want it to sound very deep & have a nice roar! but at the same time I DON'T want it to sound ricey I know that's a lot to ask, but I just wanna know what you guys think of the mufflers. I greatly appreciate all of the opinions & knowledge that you guys willingly share w/ me on this board.
Thank You,
-Johnny

I would stick with what the others are doing. Get the Magnaflows.

The tips on the Magnaflows look nice with the double wall construction. They also seem to be giving everyone the sound and performance that Lexus owners want.

Sounds deep, no rice popping noise either

My resonator is off, so I set off alot of alarms, which is FUN to do

i put a pair of apex dunk mufflers on my sc300. it sounds very close to stock, but you can tell its on if you know your cars. they are kinda big, but i like it, i also got the 60mm inlet and only the rear section of the exhaust. it should be louder when i get the rest of the exhaust. heres a pic of them

Just curious anyone have a remus or remus style exhaust set up on their SC? If so, please post pic.

I like our exhaust systems stock. They sound really nice from in the car...not sure how they sound from outside.
Do they sound like the new Eclipse's do you think, or like a Camaro or TransAm? Those are pretty throaty.

Nah...do these...I can honestly say some of the best workmanship I've seen on an exhaust. All titanium and light as hell...only $600/pair.

These aren't some "no-name" POS crap exhaust cans like the ones on eBay...$155 a pair...that alone should tell you something. Don't fudge your Lexus...

I am going to go on Monday to see about getting some cat-back mandrel bent piping done for the SC400...if all goes well, I might be offering some duplicates for sale...should work with most universals.

Yes, it's the same one that some lucky IS300 owner won....I have two for the SC400...I think I'm just going to do 2.25" or MAYBE 2.5" full catback mandrel piping...I'll have pictures and a review once I get it done...

The trip was awesome...did so much stuff...took 2750 photos...we had 3 digital camera (a 3.32, 4.0, and 5.0 megapixel)...here's a sample picture...obviously, downscaled quite a bit (the original image is like 2200x1700 or so)...I think I need to upgrade to a DSLR with REAL lenses...these "prosumer" digi-cams have too many limitations...
