Riddle Me This: Door Locks [Video]
Alright,
So after having to spend $50 on pop-a-lock to get my damn car open (while it was running because I locked the passenger side, and the driver side door handle CLIP broke...mother
) anyways
I replaced the clip and decided to check everything out in the door lock actuators since I had one person tell me they might be bad.
They have no resistance and the door handles operate easily - to me they don't seem like they are bad.
If you listen in this video, whenever I press the unlock button repeatedly it sounds like a capacitor is empty inside whatever control module for the doors is available. You can hear the relay clicking away whether it be by door or by hand.
Is there a specific control unit/module for the door lock system?
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, MY DIRTY HAIRY ARMS FROM WORKING INSIDE THE DOOR!
