Alot of these guys here don't know how much stuff cost specially when you have a reputable shop do the work for you, and how much parts were installed.
3.4 for $12K are you kiding me? His car is worth what someone is willing to pay for it 2 years ago i would pay that much for that car.

Some people don't even know what a stroker is , what it looks like , what it comes with and how much it cost they are just saying just to say something.

This thread is getting out of control, if you are not buying or willing to negotiate don't post on his thread plain and simple.

obviously some of us never bought brand new parts and had a shop install them.

This thread needs to be clean up, all the negative comment needs to go....if you are not buying please exit his thread.

OP don't part it out, just keep it till the right buyer comes thru someone that know what he's getting, someone who will appreciate how much time and money was put into it will come get it from you.

I think the word "investment" is being used improperly as there is really no investment in an SC...unless you think that one day its value will skyrocket.

I'm not a hater and new to the forum. If you are not a fabricator or have much knowledge the costs can get up there quick. People will buy at whatever they think anything is worth. Keep the car and sell the new baby it is worth 35K just kidding.

Very rarely does anyone get what they put into a car unless they get great deals or the demand is high.

I still wish I had my 70 Barracuda gran coupe with the 383 super commando. It would be worth a pretty penny and a lot more than I paid for it.

I would keep the car and keep working on it. Having kids take away a lot of the free time and extra capital one has. You will regret selling it.

I am working on cleaning up a 95 sc400 that will go in for body work and paint soon. It isn't getting any mods but will be a daily driver. Someday maybe it will be a classic too.

I'll give you 35k for the ISF. That's fair.

Just because you spent like a fool doesn't mean its worth a fools price

He needs to just keep it or part it out.

I just think if anyone has $35k (okay if OBO) $28-30k. They would build their own SC like this one for alot cheaper and have it their own way.

OP is probly a ballar with both those 2 cars and ending up dumping that much money into them, but even If I was well off with $$$ I still find better ways of using it into cars than where his money went into that SC.

We have 6sp swapped GTE's SCs that cant even be sold for 12k, and singled turbo SCs selling for under 20k.

and Autoboy's Widebody SC is selling for $35k i believe. Ill rather buy that car over this. His car has TONS more work (engine/tranny 6sp/suspension/interior rare JDM parts/exterior rare JDM parts) done....

VS the OP car (engine *which from his part list is missing nice cams and port polish etc/etc all I see is a single kit slapped on a GTE from the list), suspension, no interior, no exterior, no tranny) for the same price.

I highly doubt anyone feels safe downshifting to 3rd with 500whp with the stock tranny.

Its just a reality check.

Camaros back in 1969 sold for what? Like $10,000 (I have no idea...but let's just say for now)... If every guy that sold a 1969 Camaro decades after it was first bought for under $10,000, that's all the car would be worth and that's all people would be willing to pay.

If you get guys paying asking price on a rare car (and the SC is becoming rare....especially a clean one), that car becomes more valuable and next thing you know every owner realizes how much they can sell them for. Just look at the Supra... same story, if it wasn't for the movie and the craze that followed shortly after, it would be nowhere near $50k for a clean example.

Just let the guy go maybe? Maybe someone buys it for $35k and then we can all appreciate our cars and ask higher numbers for them.

Just a theory....
You have a valid point, and I agree with you a 100 percent...

This isn't the classifieds. If you want to sell your car post it there, not the discussion forums.
